Sara & André nasceram em 1980 e 1979, na cidade de Lisboa, onde vivem e trabalham. Estudaram, respectivamente, Realização Plástica do Espectáculo na Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, em Lisboa, e Artes Plásticas na Escola Superior de Artes e Design, nas Caldas da Rainha. Expõem regularmente desde meados da presente década. Das suas exposições individuais, destacam-se as seguintes: “Sara & André” (PêSSEGOpráSEMANA, Porto, 2007), “Fundação Sara & André” (Rosalux, Berlim, 2007) e “Sara & André” (3+1 Arte Contemporânea, Lisboa, 2008). Desenvolveram igualmente projectos para “Project Rooms” nas feiras “Arte Lisboa” (2008) e “Just Mad”, em Madrid (2010), bem como para espaços expositivos alternativos como Small Box (Pavilhão 28 do Centro Hospitalar Psiquiátrico de Lisboa, Lisboa, 2009) e Espaço ao Cubo (Centro Comercial Alegro Alfragide, Alfragide, 2010). Participaram na terceira edição do evento “Anteciparte” (Páteo da Galé, Lisboa, 2006) e em diversas exposições colectivas, das quais sobressaem as seguintes: “Trabalhar Cansa” (Espaço AC, Lisboa, 2007), “A Escolha da Crítica” (Plataforma Revólver, Lisboa, 2009), “A Beleza do Erro” (Lx Factory, Lisboa, 2009), “A Museum is to Art what a great Translator is to a Writer” (Galeria Baginski, Lisboa, 2010) e “A Filosofia do Dinheiro” (Museu da Cidade, Lisboa, 2010).

Sara & Andre were born in 1980 and 1979, in Lisbon, where they live and work.
