Beatriz Albuquerque<\/strong> nasce no Porto. Em 2003 acaba a licenciatura na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto e em 2006 acaba o Mestrado no The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Em 2004 junta-se ao IPG: Independent Performance Group, fundado por Marina Abramovic. Em 2005 ganha o Distinction Prize em performance<\/em> no Festival PAC\/edge em Chicago e, quatro anos depois, ganha o Myers Art Prize: Mix Media em Nova Iorque. Neste momento, frequenta o Doutoramento em Arte e Educa\u00e7\u00e3o no Teachers College, da Columbia University, com uma Bolsa FLAD\/Fulbright.<\/p>\n

Beatriz Albuquerque was born in Oporto, Portugal. She finished her Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts with emphasis in Design of Communication and Graphical Art at Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto in 2003<\/em> and her Master of Fine Arts at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2006<\/em>. In 2004<\/em> she joined the Independent Performance Group founded by Marina Abramovic. In 2005<\/em> she won the Distinction Prize from the Ambient Series in the PAC\/edge Performance Festival in Chicago and in 2009 she won the Myers Art Prize: Mix Media, Columbia University, New York. She was awarded in 2009 the FLAD\/Fulbright Grant (from Portugal) and she is currently (2010)<\/em> taking the Doctor of Education in Art and Art Education at the Teachers College, Columbia University, New York.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
